About our Director:

Directed since our beginning by Hamburg Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach John Crangle, experienced Head and Assistant coaches are assigned to support each team ranging in possible age groups from 12-18 year old teams. We are a NON-PROFIT organization, and all coaches volunteer their time to better girls volleyball in Western New York.  Coach Crangle sat on the WEVA Board of Directors as a Junior rep for 6 years, and has led Hamburg to 5 Sectional Final appearances, 3 Section Titles, and a Buffalo News Top 5 ranking in each of his 10 coaching seasons in Hamburg.

Club Calendar:

BVA's club practice season of 2 practices per week typically begins in mid-December and runs through the first week of May.  However the 2020-21 season will run from mid November through March 1st (the tentative start of the high school season).  If the high school season is pushed back, our season can extend if teams are interested.  Practices will occur 1-2 times per week during the pandemic.

Our teams compete in local, regional, and national level tournaments along with open gyms, skill clinics, and weekly practices. Our practice sites include schools within the Hamburg School District, the IFS gym, and both the Orchard Park and Hamburg Recreation/Community Center.
